Event registration 

How do I register for the conference?

To register please go to the conference registration page and complete a registration form. 

Early bird discounts are available until 4 July 2025. Please visit the conference registration page for details on current early bird discount offers. 

Registration on the day of conference is subject to availability. Please contact the Conference Organiser to confirm availability. If space is available, payment on the day will be by credit card only. 

Day rates are available on our registration page. This day rate includes morning and afternoon tea and lunch at the conference venue. The day rate does not include tickets to social events, these can be purchased separately. 

The registration fee for participants includes admission to conference sessions, social events, morning/afternoon tea and lunch at the conference venue. Please see the registration page for more details. 

To view your conference registration information please log in to the registration portal or refer to your conference registration email. If you have forgotten your log in or are unable to find your registration confirmation, please contact the Conference Organiser.

Any request for a cancellation of a registration must be forwarded in writing to the conference organiser. A full refund applies to cancellations received prior to Friday 4 July 2025 excluding a cancellation fee of $110.00.  After this date no refunds will apply except under exceptional circumstances.

A registration may be transferred without penalty to another person within the same organisation, by advising the conference organiser in writing.

Conference accommodation

Can you help me book my accommodation for the conference?

A limited number of rooms have been reserved on behalf of the conference delegates. Please visit the accommodation page for hotel information and rates. To secure the conference accommodation rates bookings should be made when you complete your conference registration online. If you have already registered and would like to book accommodation, please email the Conference Organiser

If you have requested conference accommodation, your accommodation will be listed and confirmed in your conference registration email. 

Please contact the Conference Organiser to amend or cancel your conference accommodation. Cancellation fees will apply to cancellations made within 30 days of the conference dates. See the accommodation page for details. 

Yes, if you would like to request nights outside of the secured allotment, please input them into the additional nights field during the registration process. The Conference Organiser will confirm any additional nights with the hotel and send you an updated confirmation email.  

Meals and dietary requirements

What meals will be provided at the conference?

At the conference morning/afternoon tea and lunch will be provided to conference delegates.

Tea, coffee and water will be available throughout the day at the conference venue.

Please advise us of any special dietary requirements when completing your conference registration. Your dietary requirements can be viewed and updated in the registration portal. 

Abstract submission

How do I submit an abstract for the conference?

For details on how to submit an abstract please see the abstract submission page.

Abstract authors will be notified by email of the outcome of their submission. 

Yes, unless stated otherwise you can submit more than one. Please refer to the abstract submission page for further information. 

You can save your abstract as a draft in the portal and edit as many times as you need prior to submitting. Once you have submitted your abstract you will be unable to edit.   

Dress code

What is the dress code for the conference?

The dress code for the conference is smart casual.

Conference program

How can I see what sessions will be presented before I arrive at the conference?

Please refer to the program page to see the full conference program. The program will also be available on the conference app (available one week prior to the conference).

Conference app

How do I download the conference app and what are my login details?

One week prior to the conference you will receive an email with the conference app login details and instructions. We recommend you download the app before you arrive at the conference. 

We highly recommend you download the conference app to maximise your engagement and enjoyment at the conference. On the conference app you can view the conference program, build your own personal agenda, take notes at sessions and export them for future reference. You can also view a list of the attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors and connect with them via direct in app messaging.

At the conference

Where do I go to check in and get my name badge at the conference?

On arrival at the conference venue please check in and collect your name badge at the registration desk located in the The Star Event Centre.

Please refer to the program on the conference app or website for presentation session times and room details. The program will also be available on a noticeboard located near the registration desk at the venue. 

Please refer to the conference program on the conference website or app for mealtimes. 

Please visit the conference registration desk and our team will be able to assist you. 

Please visit the registration desk and the team will be able to check if there are any tickets available. Any tickets purchased will need to be paid via credit card at the time of booking.  

 

Please refrain from attending the event if you are feeling unwell prior to the conference or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath. If you develop symptoms or feel unwell during the conference, please leave the venue asap and advise the conference secretariat via email. 

 

Please visit the registration desk and report to the conference staff immediately if you are being harassed, notice someone else is being harassed or have any other concerns related to or including yelling or swearing; abuse or slurs; inappropriate behaviour or language; physical threats; harassment or intimidation; unwanted advances of a sexual nature; taking, damaging or disrespecting other people’s property. All concerns will be addressed confidentially.
