The ‘Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference Legends Award’ was established by the Conference Committee in 2017 to recognise persons in the Queensland Mining Industry who have made substantial, sustained and significant improvements to health and safety in the Queensland Mining Industry.
A Perpetual Trophy, shown below, was commissioned through Simtars. Each recipient is invited to attach a personalised mine tag to the Trophy.
In addition, each recipient receives a Personal Trophy, recognising the occasion, and a lifetime complimentary registration to attend future QMIHS Conferences.
This Trophy is presently on display in the Reception at Simtars at 2 Robert Smith Street, Redbank.
